Role
Visual Designer
The challenge was to design a comprehensive visual system for a conceptual music festival. With Western music festivals often saturated and repetitive, I aimed to create something distinctive—a female-led, K-pop–centered festival that celebrates femininity and empowerment through experimental design.

Concept
aero::verse is a one day music festival that celebrates the artistry of Korea's most popular 4th & 5th generation girl groups.
Development
I sought to encapsulate femininity in a non-traditional way—shaping my design choices through experimental layering that evokes airy, weightless qualities, while introducing a sense of edge through the use of blend modes and sharp edges.
I designed mockups for key branded items, including banners, tickets, VIP lanyards, and event posters.

Bumper
Using After Effects, I designed a bumper introducing aespa, the headliner for the festival, by combining dynamic typography and special effects paired with audio from their newest single, Whiplash.
Web Prototype
I created a responsive website prototype for both desktop and mobile, mapping out the information architecture to guide users through a natural flow—first scanning the lineup, then seamlessly moving on to their purchases—all within the immersive theme of the aero::verse.
Reflection
As a solo project for my Visual Systems course, I received valuable critique and feedback from both peers and my professor.
I set out to design a festival concept that I would genuinely enjoy as a consumer, while also challenging the oversaturation of Western music festivals.
By centering a female-led Korean girl group as the headliner, the project aimed to not only celebrate K-pop culture but also encapsulate themes of femininity and female empowerment through both the design system and overall experience.
